By using custom modifications, enabled the use of normal products as attributes or accessories of products while still using the customer group pricing that applies to the site, allowed Technical Notes to be added for each product, modified Manufacturer pages to have custom logos and titles, and a number of other additions and changes to make the store work exactly the way the client required
